Hi Grayson!

Hi, Grayson, I am so excited to get to start working with you and to get to know you! My name is Cassandra Channell, but I go by Cassie for short.
I am a student at Ohio University- Chillicothe and I am studying to be a middle school teacher for science and social studies. I always loved to read, however, so I decided to take a few extra classes so that I could teach reading as well if I chose to. Reading has got to be one of my favorite things to do but I also enjoy to ride horses and 4 wheelers, spend time with my husband, Jeremy, and my 3 week old baby boy, Wyatt, and play with my 4 crazy dogs! They are all labs or lab mixes except for my mini schnauzer so they all have excess energy!
What are your favorite things to do? Do you like certain kinds of music or movies? Are you involved in any school activities or sports? Do you have any pets? I couldn't imagine life without my animals!
I can't wait to get started on this project with you. Have you read "Hoot" before? I haven't but I know that not long ago they made a movie based on it. I didn't see the movie but I heard that it was very good.
I hope to hear from you soon and I hope to get to know some about you. If you have any questions for me, feel free to ask them.

I am glad to hear that you enjoy reading enough to read something more than once! I know there are a few that I have read over and over and it seems like there is always something I see as significant the second time around that I didn't notice the first time. You should have some great insight into the book since you have read it more than once.

I used to play softball when I was your age! I loved it. I have actually thought about starting to play again in summer leagues. Who knows.. And I think Fruit Loop is an excellent dog name. If I could do it over I would name all of mine something like that because they are FAR from normal!

1)I wouldn't get into it like Roy did, because in my life at school I got a lot of stuff to keep my mind on like sports and grades and such. But I mean I would probly keep my eye out for him again.

2)I think Dana should of gotten in troble too, because if someone was choken you and you couldnt breathe,What would you do?I call it self defense. But i learned at my school fighting makes everything worse.haha.

What would you of done if Dana was bulling you like that?
Would you of took the time to try and go find the "running boy" like Roy did?

p.s. your son is adoreable.!=D

I am a non confrontational person so I am the type that probably would have let it go for awhile and then beat him with brains like Roy ended up doing.

And I probably would have been very interested in the running boy as well. I was always up for a good mystery when I was younger. Even if there wasn't one I would come up with one when I was younger.

Thanks.. he is a handful already though and is working on being a flirt!

What chapter are you guys on now so I can read over them again?

We are on chapter 11.
When Delinko came to Roy's house to ask his parents questions.

If you were Roy would you of told your dad to help the officer out by writing a letter to Delinko's boss?

i would of prebly forgot to tell my dad, since the officer only gave Roy a ride home,it isn't that big of a deal.
And i always think Officer Delinko was pushing his luck.
